This recording features part of an American Legion award ceremony recognizing Dr. William J. Mayo and Dr. Charles H. Mayo. Edward A. Hayes, National Commander for the American Legion, recognizes the Drs. Mayo for their "continuous and unselfish service rendered to World War veterans and their dependents."
