Post Sanitarium-now Museum, Post Texas Built by C.W. Post in 1912, Erected by two Scorchmen, using Native Garza County Stone, George Samson and James Napier, Dr. Ponton came in 1911, was joined in 1913 by Dr. A.C. Surman and Dr. D.C. Williams 1914. Closed 1918 when Drs. Surman and Williams called into service. Purchased by Mashall Mason for apartment house. in 1966 given to Garza County by Mason Heirs for a museum. Published by Baxter Lase Co., Box 175, Amarillo, Texas
