Williamson, President, Chief Operating Officer, the Methodist Health Care Network outlining the meeting with Sonja Hooks, and representatives of the American Medical Center (AMC) of Moscow. Many of the physicians at AMC are American expatriates or Russian physicians trained in western hospitals. This correspondence outlines the background of the meetings including plans for establishing an organization that includes outpatient care and medical consultations for the AMC, particularly Primary Care/Family Practice/Emergency and Trauma Care. The letter outlines the proposal in which the Methodist Hospital would be interested in becoming one of the joint venture partners and function as the operational/administrative and medical education manager of the selected private hospital in Moscow. Funding, the scope of operations and other considerations were also outlined. Initial Recommendations were also outlined for this opportunity.
