Included is a remembrance of E. W. Bertner noting, "Throughout time as The Texas Medical Center grows and the University of Texas in this Center grows with it, the name of Ernest [sic] William Bertner will be upon the lips and in the hearts of all those who appraise at their true worth vision, determination and courage beyond belief."
