Dr. Elizabeth Vainrub, PhD was Chairman of the Department of Prevention Medicine for Children at the Institute of Prevention Medicine in Kiev, Ukraine in April 1986 at the time of the nuclear accident in Chernobyl.

The Elizabeth Vainraub Oral History contains digital video files, audio files, photographs, and prepared questions of an oral history interview of Elizabeth Vainraub conducted by Armin Weinberg and Sara Rozin. Vainraub's work was related to addressing the effects of the Chernobyl accident on those in the area at the time and those who immigrated from there to other locations including the US and Israel.

- Processing information: Original 4 digital video files were joined into one access files using ffmpeg concat.
- Processing information: Newspapers and other large format printed materials were scanned and returned to donor. Large items were scanned to several images and merged into one image using Photoshop.
