The collection consists of two boxes. The bulk of the material in the collection is related to the U.S.-U.S.S.R. collaborative study on the effectiveness of d-Penicillamine in treating juvenile arthritis. Box I contains correspondence among Dr. Baum and other doctors, dating from 1974 through 1984 and organized chronologically by year. Box II contains other materials related to the d-Penicillamine study, including accounting reports, sample patient evaluation forms, travel information and itineraries, drafts of the project proposal, and progress reports.
