The Dr. Frederick C. Elliott Papers document Dr. Elliot's leadership roles in the University of Texas Dental Branch and Texas Medical Center, as well as other aspects of his career and personal life. It includes his manuscript on the History of the Texas Medical Center, along with recorded interviews and transcripts.

The collection documents Dr. Elliott's career through committee and administrative reports, correspondence, legal papers, and legislative material. Also included are scrapbooks, personal memos, manuscripts, photographs, and audio tapes. There are copies of a number of Dr. Elliot's speeches, as well as materials relating to honors he received.

This series includes Dr. Elliott's curriculum vitae, roster of lectures, and directories, as well as articles mentioning him. There are also items indicating personal and professional participation, such as membership cards (Houston Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Rice, Social Security card) and certificates (Annual Certificates for the American Board of Prosthodontics).

This series includes materials relating to Dr. Elliott's professional career, including his awards and speeches. There are programs, brochures, and invitations surrounding his numerous awards. In many cases the awards or certificates themselves are also included. It also features clippings from the 1930s to the 1980s, and correspondence with local foundations. In addition, there are speech cards and copies of Dr Elliott's speeches and writings.

The legislative bill creating the Dental Branch, catalogues, administrative reports and commencement programs are included.
